Work Offline (Mobile)
If you are out of cell or wifi range at a job site, your cell phone automatically goes into offline mode to let you seamlessly check in, save photos, tag assets, view and search work orders and quotes, add comments, and submit your work.
How Does the Sync Center Work?
After you download a work order while you have cell connectivity, you can continue to work even if you lose connectivity. If cell service is weak or you lose connectivity, the app continues to store the work you do and automatically adds your changes to the queue to be processed when connectivity is restored. You can add line items when offline, but the pricing and payouts may not be available. If cell connectivity is strong, the action is processed immediately.
- When you have connectivity, log into the Mobile App and tap each work order to download them so that they are accessible while you're offline.
- When you don't have cell connectivity and are offline, you can still check in by tapping the work order and tapping Check In.
- To tag an asset and add photos, tap Assets and use the wizard to walk through tagging the asset.
- The Sync Center icons show you the information you are saving and queues it for syncing later with the Motili Platform.
- Tap Submit.
- When you are back online with cell phone or wifi connectivity, the app automatically recognizes that new data is available and synchronizes the information. The work order reflects the work that you did while you were offline.
You cannot log in to the Mobile App in Offline mode.

Tip: When you refresh your screen by pulling down from the top of the screen, the documents that are already downloaded to your device are refreshed. For example, if a work order changed from In Process to Closed, refreshing makes that update appear.
